felted bag

Today I went looking for this yarn I want to knit my sister a nice lace scarf with. Well, when searching I found this yarn I spun up about 4 years ago. It was one of my first spindle spun yarn. I laughed while knitting it. Over spun spots, thin and thick ect. Well it was screaming make me into a bag so that is what I did. Didn't use any pattern just faked it as I went. Then Felted it. I'm considering putting it on my etsy sight and selling it for say 20 dollars? Not sure if it would sell. What do you think?

I Just LOVE this Fish Hat!!!!

I am so so pleased with this hat! You can find the pattern at http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEwinter08/PATTfishy.php I had a bit of difficulties but you can email the designer Thelma Egberts from the bottom of the pattern on that sight. Thelma is very helpfull if you have any problems. The tail confused me and she helped alot! Along with My Friend Shelly who helped me alot as I have this thinking or non thinking problem. Thank God for Shelly's help or I may have given up. Also I have to give credit to Youtube as they had a viedo on short rows! As you can see Barbie loves it!!!

Good Will finds and seconed mitten or pair

I had to get out of the house today! Was nice to walk around the store and just look. Didn't really have the cash but had to treat myself so bought these things. Foam stickers are from Halloween but knowing Barbie she will love them! and heart stamps and ink and then the books are for me!!! One on quilting and one with knitting sewing crocheting ect... FUN!!!!

Brrrrrrrrr Barbie needs mittens

Ok now looking at the pic I see its not my very best work. Seems latley i can't do directions too well. and you can see where I attempted to weave in the tail on the cuff. uggh But that is the first glove for Barbie since it has been below Zero temps here for several days. Actually I make her wear gloves and then mittens over them or mittens and then fingerless gloves over that and she can't go out for long any way. These are from some of my homespun yarn. You will have to excuse me as you probally can tell im frustrated with my not being able to make anything. I had a pair of socks started but had to frog them because I kept messign up. Spinning again

Had to share this yarn I have been spinning on latley. My wonderful friend Jill sent me (just because) this soft soft lambs wool, yes it was quite a bit ago. I had washed it but with the holidays I had no time to card and spin it. It has turned out so nice and I'm so happy for friends like Jill. Not because she sends me stuff (I dont mind that part lol) But becasue she is always there for me and dose not judge me! Thank you Jill for being a true friend! And thanks for the wonderful wool. And thanks to those of you who read my blog as it makes me feel a bit more connected to the world. God Bless and keep you all!

Yet another person emailed me with a gift of knittng needles and by now you should know me I have a hard time saying no! So here it is more knitting needles from freecycle! It seems its gonna be year of the knitting needle for me!
